MyEventAlly is a safety app, so it handles information that matters: where you are when you ask for help, and what you say to the people responding. This page explains what we collect and why.

    Who we are

Stratagem 98 LLC is an Indianapolis, Indiana company and the developer of MyEventAlly, an event safety app that connects event attendees to on-site security and medical teams. This policy explains what information the MyEventAlly app and this website collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

If you have a question about anything here, contact us at info@stratagem98.com.

    Information you give us

When you create a MyEventAlly account we collect the details needed to run it, which typically include your name, email address, and phone number. Venue and organizer accounts also include the organization name and the details required for billing.

When you contact us through this website, subscribe to our newsletter, or apply to the early adopter or volunteer programs, we collect what you enter in that form so we can respond.

    Location information

MyEventAlly is a safety app, and location is central to how it works. When you raise a distress signal, the app attaches your device's location so that responders can reach you rather than search for you. That location is shared with the security and medical staff responsible for the venue you are attending.

The app requests location permission from your device, and you can revoke that permission at any time in your device settings. Revoking it means a request for help will no longer carry your position, which will slow down or prevent a response.

    Messages and incident records

When you use the app to request help, we store the request, its status, and the two-way chat between you and the responding team. Venue staff and the organization operating that venue can see these records. They form the incident history a venue uses to review what happened at an event.

    Information collected automatically

We collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and general usage and diagnostic data, which we use to keep the service working and to fix problems.

    How we use information

We use the information described above to deliver requests for help to the right responders, to operate and secure the platform, to send service and safety notifications, to process venue subscriptions, to respond to your questions, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

    Who we share information with

Venue and event staff. When you raise a signal at a venue, that venue's authorized responders receive it, including your location and your messages.

Service providers. We use third parties to run the platform, including cloud hosting and database infrastructure, push notification and email delivery, and payment processing for venue subscriptions. They may process information only to provide those services to us.

Emergency and legal. We may share information when we believe in good faith that it is necessary to respond to an emergency involving a risk to someone's safety, or where required by law.

    Your choices and rights

You can delete your MyEventAlly account from within the app, which begins removal of your account information. You can turn off location permission at any time in your device settings, and you can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message we send or at stratagem98.com/unsubscribe.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Write to info@stratagem98.com and we will respond.

    Children

MyEventAlly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

    Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and will revise the date shown at the top. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate.
